Out of all of the former Rocafella camp members, Young Chris of Young Gunz/State Property was one of the last I’d see obtaining some potential for crossover (UK/US) success - and at the hands of Mark Ronson and Jay-Z himself, no less.  While his solo album Now or Never won’t drop until the top of the year, Ronson is already putting the finishing touches on his crossover buzz single “Suga Suga” (with guests the UK girl group Sugababes - also signed to Roc Nation), and a feature-heavy mixtape is also on the way.

The source to blame for probably a pretty sick meeting of the minds? None other than Ronson muse Wale:

“One thing about me and Wale is there’s no egos —we’re like brothers from another,” he said. “Basically, one day, Wale just called me like, “Yo, I’ma holla at Rich [Klienan] and Mark [Ronson] and let them know they need to look at you— not sayin’ that you can’t get a deal but they need to do something with you before somebody else grabs you.’ I went over to Allido and once we figured out I was free — no attachments and basically ready to go — we just been working. Mark’s been giving me records, and me and Wale been touring and throwing records together — just building our relationship just so when the deal gets done, everything is a go.”

To not sound like anyone’s memorializing DJ AM, let me be more specific.  Famed “brat pack” DJ’s & acts Steve Aoki, Mark Ronson, Mix Master Mike, Mom Jeans, Cut Chemist, Vice, & Adam 12 will put on one hell of a show Tuesday October 14th, at LA’s Avalon.  Tickets (at $20 pre-sale value a pop) for Welcome Home AM are available at wanttickets.com and will go towards various memorial funds for the four who died in the crash that AM survived alongside collaborator Travis Barker (pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, Calif.; security guard Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles; and Barker’s assistant Chris “Lil’ Chris” Baker, 29, also of Los Angeles).

Producer/DJ Mark Ronson has fueled the rumors of his sister former Rocafella signee and current DJ extraordinare Samantha Ronson’s romance with Lindsay Lohan.

“My sister and Lindsay make a cute couple, don’t they?,” he asked an interviewer in The Sunday Mirror.   Lohan, 9 years Ronson’s junior at 21, has yet to confirm the romance, and reports allege that the actress packed up and moved out of a Manhattan apartment she’d been sharing with the lesbian.

Honestly though, who the hell cares.  Did anyone care when Bea Arthur started fucking Betty White? No! That’s Hollywood, dammit!

Ok, Ok, so between Jay-Z and Nick Cannon (on opposite poles of the spectrum), age, more lately than ever before, dudes aren’t caring as much about the age difference between the bedroom and the altar.

“It”-producer and established musician himself, Mark Ronson (who’s 32) is dating Brit model Daisy Lowe, who’s only 19!

The duo stepped out last night for Jade Jagger’s launch party at Automat in London.

Everyone’s favorite little recovering addict Amy Winehouse made it to the Brit Awards ‘08 stage safely and performed a medley of her 2007 hits before a packed concert hall alongside collaborator Mark Ronson!  Ma is definitely looking better than she has in a long time, (excluding these haggard-ass wardrobe choices).

The thing about Brits is that no matter how annoying or innately trashy they may indeed be, as soon as we hear that classy accent, “ayyyy fughitaboutit!”  Even the King Fraggle himself Perez Hilton looks slightly less annoying as the nominees with actual panache are currently arriving at the 2008 Brit Awards at Earls Court.

OK, I recant. Perez makes baby Mary Magdalene cry.
